Mother NCC is my lovely school... Nugawela Central College. From grade 6 to grade 13 I studied at Nugawela central college. I stayed in the school hostel and went to school. so I have many beautiful memories with my school.

Nugawela Central College is a famous national school in the Katugastota Zone of the Kandy District in the Central Province. This school is one of the first central schools established by Dr.C.W.W.Kannangara under his "Free Education Scheme" in the country. This school was established on January 4, 1944 by former Nonprime Minister D.S.Senanayake.

The present principal of the school is Mr.Sasanka Tennakoon, and the school has about 200 teachers and about 4,500 students and conducts classes from grade 6 to grade 13.
